Privacy at ploos.no

This page explains how we process information when you visit the website or send an enquiry through the contact form.

Controller

PLOOS AS (organization number 931 173 723) is responsible for personal information submitted through the contact form. Use our contact form for privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights. We do not publish a direct business email address on the website.

Information and purposes

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use this information to review and respond to your enquiry, and where appropriate follow up a potential commercial relationship. Depending on the purpose, the legal basis is generally legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps requested before entering into a contract where applicable.

Please do not submit passwords, sensitive personal information, storage contents or other confidential data.

Technology and service providers

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. A Cloudflare Worker receives contact form submissions, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form from automated abuse. The message is delivered through Proton Mail and kept in the receiving mailbox. These providers may process relevant technical data in the course of providing their services.

Turnstile may process browser and connection signals to distinguish people from automated submissions. Processing and potential transfers outside the EEA depend on the providers' services and configurations. Ploos AS still needs to review and document relevant processing agreements and international-transfer safeguards.

Retention

We retain enquiries for as long as necessary for follow-up and applicable legal obligations. We are still formalising a documented deletion procedure; there is not yet one published fixed retention period for all enquiries. Please do not submit information that requires special secure handling.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction, and object to processing. Please use the contact form. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Documentation in progress

We are finalising internal documentation for retention, provider agreements and cross-border data transfers. This notice will be updated as these points are verified.
